I always request ENG. There is hardly any scenario that a GM can come up with, that doesn't break something.

And Nerdese is easy. Just add magno-, -flux, or -relays to any noun, and use verbs like configuring, adjusting, or repairing.

"Chief I'm afraid the magnofaxameter restrictors need to be configured again. I aljust the parameters on the Flatumatic relays with a spanner-flux monitor. I'll have them repaired in no time!"

So far my favorite department is security, but I've played medical and helm too and enjoyed them. I am trying to build the courage to try something else; I'd like to have a wide range of experience before I graduate.

Tac. Blowing stuff up is fun. :D

This is so true. Muwah. Yep, Security and Tactical are my favs. Honestly though, as everyone else has said, just dont be afraid to try all the postings. It helps in the long run, player wise. >^..^<

::makes a note:: If you ever get a post on Hood remember to tell you family and friends you'll be out of touch for a while 'cos their calls won't come through. ::sticks it to the screen::

In that case, tell 'em to write. It might actually get there faster than via subspace.

Warp speed if there's a care-package of donuts hanging off it... ;)

You and donuts, Huffie. One would think you were a member of some municipality/city/county/state/federal agency's finest.

2. Sci because you don't have to do anything

I Resent that lol :P

I'm all About Science, on Excal my goal is pretty much to gun for the boss' job all the time tho...so now that I'm CSCI I guess I'm stuck gunning for the CO forever lol.

Seriously though if you "don't have to do anything" as CSCI then the sim is boring, straight up (In Excal they got me crafting a subspace weapon.....can anyone say "Khitomer Accord"?)
