Kate was born and raised on the Planet Earth. She belongs to a small family. Her parents are Earth bound and she has one sibling. Her twin brother Kyle. The pair entered into the Civilian corp of Starfleet at the same time. Her brother choose the security end of it.

 

Kate ventured into the medical field and became a nurse. Her family tried to push her to become a doctor but she held onto her decision. But wasn't long after working in the clinic on Earth that Kate was pushed by the medical team she was working with to go back to the academy and become a doctor. They felt that she was wasting her talents as a nurse.

 

Kate's appearance: She is fair skinned with a smattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks. She has shoulder length, wavy, black hair. Kate is relatively a quiet person but is friendly and caring. She can also be a tough when the situation requires it. She can be a very nervous type too, shows itself in her being a little bit of a clutz.
