As Kania was walking back to Main Engineering, She wondered what the new chief was going to be like. She liked Cmdr Marak and felt comfortable around him, especially when he had ordered her to meet him at the Temple. He brought a lot back to her that day. Things that had been missing for years,  her belief's. Now that he was gone who was she going to get to give her away at her wedding. Or does she walk down the isle

alone. She was not comfortable with that thought. J'Ddan had left the date for the wedding up to her. She was so happy that he finally made Lt Cmdr and now was Chief of Security as well. She knew he would make a good Chief. She started thinking of Zera and her baby. Thinking that it might make Z feel a little more comfortable with accepting her invitation to stand beside her,  she would waited for her to have the baby to have the wedding. That would

also give her the chance to get the arrangements made. She still had to approach Z about standing beside her and She thought that maybe she would ask Dr Herel to plan the reception. She did plan one heck of a party for Dr Stewart and Cmdr Marak. Only this time Kania would not drink any more than one warnog. Her head was still throbbing a little, but it was getting better. She didnt want to ever go through that again and she wanted to prove Z wrong

for saying that she would probably see her again for more Detox Tabs.

    As Kania entered Main Engineering , she saw Jon talking to the new chief. She felt guilty about not being there to greet him when he arrived, but she was just obeying orders from the Capt. She wondered what Cmdr Bravo was thinking of her for not greeting him. For some reason she was as nervous as a hiding  tribble during the great tribble hunt.She straightened her uniform and walked up to the new chief and saluted him and announced herself.

 " I am Lt. Kania C Kawalas reporting for duty sir !!", with a smile on her face and a chipper voice trying to hide her nervousness and the fact that she still didnt feel to good, and thinking to herself, " I sure hope he is nice."
