Wednesday Academy didn't happen tonight

Ladies and Gentlebots, and especially Cadets!

 

I wanted to apologize for missing tonight's Academy sim. Real life got in the way at the last minute (how rude of it) and I couldn't make it to the sim. I have now heard the Dac didn't make it either, so that means we had a room of cadets looking for GMs that were not there. There is a normal process for sending out an SOS among the GMs for just this sort of occasion, but I was in such a hurry, I could only just warn Dac of my absence.

 

This won't happen again and just to show that I mean business, I promise to have A9 die in a nice and grisly manner in the next Academy! Of course this doesn't mean that the cadets will be any safer (heh)

Let me add my apologies as well. I was attending a retirement dinner for a USAF Major General, and well .... one does not just "walk" out of the dinner/show before it's over. I would have (intended) to send A9 a message, however; my little teeny weeny evening bag could carry either my cellphone or my lipstick/powder and ... well ... a girls gotta look good :)

 

If I were not dependent on my speed dial I would have actually memorized phone numbers and called someone, but alas I am negligent in that area. My most sincere apologies to those cadets that came and waited around. I promise to make A9's death next week extra flamboyant. :o

Please firing squads are so out of date. I prefer to use the NUKE Squad. A small nukeal based weapon which is designed to kill one humanoid at a time. I admit its in the testing phases, but if you have to shoot multiple people, well you might be one of the ones to SURVIVE:-)

Well, it is a cadet firing squad after all. And cadets can't even hit the side of a barn from inside the barn.

 

As for me, I was at an accounting conference in Las Vegas at company expense. Sucks to be me.
