"Awaiting Excalibur"

Begin Recording. ::Record Initiated::

Since the Excalibur is not due to arrive back at Camelot Station for a while, I have been allowed to explore the station, and do as I wish. I spent some of the time, as I said earlier, exploring the station. However, there is only so many times you can enjoy traveling to the, say, Drydock Observation Lounge, and marvel at the view. I traversed the station so many times, I not only grew bored looking at the immense Auditorium for the tenth time in one day, I now knew the station inside and out, despite my confusion just a week earlier.

I finally decided to just run programs in the holodecks. Whatever came to mind, I ran in the holodeck. From simulating some situations onboard a generic Sovereign class vessel, to visiting Niagara Falls, I spent a majority of my time in the holodecks. I did occasionally help out in the station, running errands and the sort. It's not like they were in the middle of a battle or anything, so I wasn't really needed.

I've been keeping in touch with one of my friends from the Academy. She wasn't able to graduate as quickly as I did, but she says she'll be graduating soon. I'm glad for her, and hope she'll find a ship soon. Perhaps she'll get assigned to the Excalibur as well.

Well, from recent rumour from around the station, I've heard that the fleet was indeed successful in a recent battle, though there are many casualties. They're supposedly on their way back to the station, so I'll soon be on the ship. I'm excited for the arrival of the Excalibur. Just a whole new area to get lost in... I should start examining the layouts and diagrams...

End Recording.
