I wish I knew Tagalog... I mean, for heaven's sake, I'm a full blood Filipino, and I don't know more than about 5 phrases in Tagalog...

 

Oh yeah. How'd we manage to switch the topic from the World Cup, to languages, mainly the official one of the USA?

I have no idea.

 

Of course most of us were totally wrong here, and Italy, the STSF World Cup underdog with two votes, won it in penalty kicks, 4-3.

Actually the reason there is no official language is because when they first formed the country they couldn't decide between English or German.

You know, I forgot about that. But in the end, it doesn't matter. For those of us that live in the States, we're all Americans, regardless of what language we speak.
