Begin Recording ::Record Initiated::

Eleven Days after Graduation. Eleven days, which I spent I numerous ways. Eleven days spent in Holodecks, preparing for my ship assignment. Eleven days spent filling out applications. Eleven days waiting nervously for news of my assignment. Eleven days of anticipation, anxiety, and excitement.

And so here I am. I was very excited to hear that I was assigned to the USS Excalibur. As a child, I would sit in the spacedocks, marveling at the floating crafts around me, especially the glorious Sovereign class. I would study them for hours, days even, so fascinated I was. It was a great joy to find I was assigned to one of these marvelous vessels!

When I arrived at Camelot Station, the experience was overwhelming. I was overjoyed, awed, nervous, and more. It was so confusing, I wasn't too sure what to think. I couldn't even remember the maps I had studied. I've very thankful for gracious lady who helped me find my way around. I never got her name, but then again, I don't really know anyone's name around here except for the officers I report to. And the ship isn't even around...

Some of the happenings here ,however, are... interesting. A pretty quick physical, with no medical instruments involved. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that everyone was away. Which was another thing. There were basically no ships around, and the hallways were empty. From the tension that was all over the station, Something big was going on. While I await the return of the Excalibur, I can only hope that the fleet was successful...

End Recording.
