Arrain Sar'vek t'Jhiin

June 01, 23--

Sar'vek snuck back to the science console, her face kept carefully expressionless as she took a seat behind the flickering mass of sensor displays and control accesses. She was in her own little spot of sanctity ... at least for the time being.

She didn't particularly care for the recent alterations to the command staff. It wasn't as if she would soon forget the punishment dealt to t'Rexan, and hna the son of io of the incident's ringleaders had been temporarily assigned to her position? The Elements did na seem to favor Talon.

The newly-minted Daise' Science Officer looked around the Oira, curiously. Predictably enough, most of those present weren't any more pleased with the state of affairs than she was. The glances fired in N'Dak's direction were mostly angered; dismayed. They undoubtedly had their share of incidents with Destorie, and they would handle their own situations in whatever way they deemed appropriate, and if aggression was to be their policy, then that was their choice to make.

But on the other hand, t'Jhiin was in her own, unique, situation. Science had to take its own view regarding the acting enarrian. They had a few more little quirks, which had to be considered. Sar'vek had a N'Dak of her own to deal with, as well as the fact that most of her people didn't have many personal experience of their own to instantly equate Destorie with trouble. A recollection of a particular incident in Sickbay jumped to mind, again making Sar'vek wonder why exactly why N'Dak was in the command chair...

Despite her own feelings, her department was relying on her to set the tone for how they were to react to the chaos around them. As she leaned forward, she shook her head. The whole ship seemed to be spiraling into disaster around her.

Elements ... Science was at least supposed to be filled with orderly confusion.
