Cabin Fever

It's been four days since Kairi's bout with the "Tobias Virus." She had never been that close to death in her life. It kind of scared her, but she tried to not let it get to her. She was just glad that everyone made it out alright.

 

Kairi was now itching to get back to Engineering. After receiving the antidote, she had to spend an entire day in Sickbay for obervation. She hoped she didn't have to spend that much time there again. Kairi enjoyed visiting Dr. Levy, but an extended stay in Sickbay was a little much.

 

After she was cleared from Sickbay, she was ordered to take the next few days off of work to help reccuperate. This didn't sit well with Kairi. After all the only way she could truely relax is if she was knee deep in work. It was the life of an engineer.

 

So for the next three days Kairi sat in her quarters. The highlight of her time off was she finally managed to catch up on a couple books given to her by her mother.

 

Kairi layed in her bed, staring up at the ceiling. As she was beginning to fidgit, she sighed..."Being sick sucks."
