Once I graduate, I'll have T'Lara, a Vulcan/Klingon hybrid as helmsman. I'm still figuring out how to play her smoothly. So confusing. Vulcans rejected her in their own way, Klingons rejected her, so the only home she really felt like she could be tolerable is Star Fleet.

The last Klingon/Vulcan I had any dealings with I had to shoot.

Might I recommend a controlled rage. Delight in the fine details of combat moves and techniques. Use the Vulcan part to perfect every move, every navigation, every killing thrust. That should be enough to make most Vulcans a little uneasy. But keep the emotions bottled up and do your actions with little unneeded flair and done calmly and coldly. Engaging in combat logically rather than by any code of honor should be enough to turn the Klingons against you.

And don't attack a superior officer. That will get you... shot.

it should be a multiple choice ...

and where are the Bajorns, Benzite, Betazeds, Bolians, Brikars, Bynars, Denobulans, Elaurians, Tellerites, Vantaxians, Yridians etc?

And, again, Caitians. ::is biased::

There are sooooo many races to choose from, not even going into the ones used regularly or introduced in the non-canon novels.

maybe I should be 1/2 Human, 1/4 Brikar, 1/4 Q *LOL* that'd throw everyone for a loop

Your thinking Time-Displaced M'Ress are you not Jones?

Yep, Time-Displaced MRess of the non-canon "New Frontier" novels as well as her original starting appearances on the Star Trek Original Series based "The Animated Series", first aired in the '70's (and of course, now on DVD), and pretty much considered canon (although, I'm sure that is up for debate somewhere).

Other recent Caitian appearances have been in the "Titan" series of novels featuring Riker and Troi or the last "Harbinger" (Reap the Whirlwind??) space station novel released. Random comic appearances as well.

I say bring it on! We totally need more Caitians. ::is biased::

Not to mention the energy beings.

OK just the 'major' Races ... seen more then 4 times in TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT that way, we have a poll UNDER 50 questions *LMAO*

Well, going with that suggested angle the choices would be limited to the Vulcans, Romulans, Humans, Klingons as the poll shows, because they have been the most frequently featured races. Andorians not quite as much until ENT took over the Helm and brought back all of the original major races featured on TOS (Andorians, Orions, Tellerites, Klingons, Romulans).

The Troyian poll option is sort of out of the blue.

The favorite race has always been the "bikers" of the Trek Universe, the Klingons, as they have been represented on all the Trek series.

Cardassian, Bajoran, Betazed, Bolian (TNG, Mot the barber was in a few eps), Elaurian (Guinan was in over 40), Trill, and what ever species MORN is ... the most talkative DS9 resident.

Bolian (TNG, Mot the barber was in a few eps)

And Chell from VOY fame, one of the former Maquis incorporated into the crew. Chell also made an appearance in the Star Trek Elite Force computer games as a member of the elite Hazard Team featured in the game. It was nice to see the appearance.

But if I had to choose a Blue Boy, I'd rather it be an Andorian.

And, as Shadow mentioned above, gotta represent the energy beings. ;-)
