“How Far Does Your Folly Go, Tobias?”

“How Far Does Your Folly Go, Tobias?”

Davies felt awkward walking around in a bio suit on his own ship. Nevertheless, he needed to settle the score with Tobias, now guest quite unwelcome. As Davies approached the secured area, the large and rough man moved sympathetically toward the force field.

“Captain, if there’s anything-“ said Tobias cut-off in mid-sentence by Davies.

“There’s not,” Davies replied dryly, “Now you listen to me, and you listen to me carefully.”

Davies paused a little for drama’s sake, then continued. “I’m not going to even get into what possible charges await you once you reach Travae, but if you have any more information that would be pertinent to this mission, I suggest you come forward with it now.”

Tobias, regaining his composure, “There is a dealer, known only as Articus, in the central city. He is the one that we purchased the weapon and vaccine from. He has a corner on the market though, so you will need to offer him something of value. He will not give in easily.”

Davies responded sharply, “You’re telling me that after all we’ve been through because of you, that now we’re required to barter with a man who may demand a price too high? How far does your follow go Tobias?”

“Again Captain, if there’s anything-“ Tobias said being cut off again.

“There’s not!” shouted Davies, “I just can’t wait to get you and your religious mystics off my ship!”

Inwardly, Davies was thankful for the new piece of information, but outwardly he still looked mad as heck. Davies shook his head then left the holding area. On his way out he nodded to the guards before heading up the Turbo Lift.

“Who do we have that would be good at cutting a deal?” Davies thought to himself. Snapping his fingers almost immediately, “I know just the person, and thank everything, it’s not Major Vaos.”
