Silly little piece of art

Just a silly little bit that was running around the web last fall, but with all the announcements at E3 of all the new video games, expansion packs, and the released trailers expected this year, I felt it time to pull this piece back out and share with those of you that hadn't seen it.

Keep in mind, I'm sure many folks won't recognize some of this "art piece", but it goes way back, about 20 years when video gaming was still rather new....

Enjoy...

He he he. Now that really takes me back. I recognise so many of those songs, since I had alot of them on my old NES. (Which I think still works).

I seen this on goyk.com. They also have videos of people playing the Mario Brothers theme on guitars, pianos, etc.

However, this is my favorite:Tetris

Both of these were great. A remember those theme songs from my NES, which *does* still work. It comes out of the closet every now an again so I can reflect on what good games truly are. :D

Oh wow...Love it!!

Somewhere I have the Zelda theme done in heavy metal style. Just can't remember who did it...

Another thing about the old games. They were hard!! Like really, really hard. You had to sit down and play them, and you didn't beat it in 3 hours.

Ah yes! The good old days. I wish I hadn't sold my NES but at least I still have my SNES. I love Super Mario Bros. I and III...wasn't the second one the game where you had to pull those vegetables out of the ground to throw them? Oh boy... I'm getting old!

One of my favorite games is Super Mario All Stars...The nintendo mario games for Super Nintendo. Great fun.

Oh, that was Tetris Sisson. I didn't quite remember the music, but it's been a long while since I played the original one. Least I think it was Tetris they were doing.

Favourite super nintendo game for me was an obscure one, "King Arthur's World". Of course, Super Mario always has a place in everyone's heart.

My fav SNES game was "Mystic Quest Legend". I still don't know why because it was a rather simple game but well I just couldn't stop playing it. I just started playing "Final Fantasy IX" on my PSOne and it reminds me a bit of "Mystic Quest Legend".

I met quite often with some friends to play "Super Mario Cart" so that was one of my favourites, too. But nothing was quite as good as trying to get through one of the "Super Mario Bros" games with my father.

LOL! And let's not forget Space Invaders. ::looks for her partial dentures::

Thanks for posting that BluRox!

Know what else had a good theme song? Anyone remember the NES game Trojan? One of my old school favorites, and I always liked the theme.
