"Corridors"

"Corridors"

Lt. T'Parek

May 05, 2156

T'Parek watched as their captive sluggardly made her way through the bowels of the Orion ship.

The scientist that lurked within her had still had an urge to run a battery of in-detail scans of the ship's systems for future reference in dealings with the greenskins. Anything alien; foreign, must be studied. Absorbed. Processed. Analyzed until its secrets have been revealed.

She thought back to her last time with the Orions. Times hadn't changed overmuch, they still had their layers upon layers of deceit and subterfuge interspersed with everything they did.

It wasn't as if they could have prepared for their former 'host's' betrayal, though the act itself did not surprise her. On the contrary, it was almost logical, given the Orions' penchant for that sort of thing.

With any luck, their new little 'pet' Orion girl would be compliant enough to assist them in sorting the mess out. But at the moment, she was still a bit too sleepy for that.
