The First Omen...

Reno and I had just beamed down to the site chosen to begin assembling the

temporary medical facility on Avalon,working with the engineers to insure a

uniform,and positive construction of said facilities,or as was discussed in our

planning sessions insuring the engineers constructed the center to the way we

needed them to be done,not the way they perceived they should be.

 

Reno was working with one crew overseeing the the main site,while I was at

the secondary Emergency temporary site...all was proceeding well ahead of a

schedule we and the engineers had foreseen and estimated,at this rate we may

actually have the temporary site up and running in record time,enabling us the

opportunity to avail ourselves in other areas of this massive undertaking.

 

We had just completed our hourly report to each other on the progress of our

respective teams...when it happened,our first injury,Reno called me on the com

to get over to his site on the double,apparently one of his team had an incident

with a heavy lift crane,and lost the confrontation,I grabbed a medical emergency

kit from the crating beamed down to my ao,and took off to join Reno,I can only

hope and pray this is not an omen of things to come...Computer End Log::
