“Use Only As Directed”

Since disembarking on March 16, 2397, the Agincourt crew has found itself in one crisis after another. Captain Davies was even beginning to think that the universe was out to get them or that. They had barely escaped Pax Primus unscathed as well as the incident with the Pacentrina. He could neither forget the VDC bombing and the near fatal encounter with the Romulans just a few weeks ago.

When Commander Deniere gave Davies the news of Agincourt’s disappearance and subsequent strange behavior, he was barely affected. This, to him, was another event in a long line of strange mishaps and crises. It’s as if the Agincourt was locked in the world of a teenage girl. Everything was a crisis, possibly real, but mostly imagined.

Yet, this was no dream world. This was gravely real and the potential negative consequences read worse than a prescription drug. Side effects included, among other things, mild to severe death, and/or extreme discomfort. Davies hoped that the circumstances they were facing were not greater than the doses recommended by fate.
