Mission Briefing

NX-05 Challenger

Mission Briefing -- April 16, 2156

Captain Moore stood in the shadows of the passenger suite, contemplating this most recent turn of events.

The crew's "trustworthy" Orion escort had betrayed them, locking them in their suite and turning their transport over to a band of slavers before they even realized anything was wrong. Commander Cole had an escape plan, but it involved bypassing the Orion guard whose massive hand was currently wrapped around nearly the whole of her neck. The attempt to seduce the guard seemed destined for tragic failure, though it appeared as if their synthesized pheromones were just beginning to affect him. Sergio had sent out a warning at the first signs of betrayal; they had to be aware by now that they were locked into their suites. Moore hoped that they were taking the initiative to free themselves and offer their assistance.

Under the deck, the transport's engines churned. Down there they could likely access the ship's systems, including the air recycling system which Cole planned to flood with the pheromone substitute. The problem at this point was in getting there. As the Orion's grip on Cole's neck tightened, the pounding on the door gave way to the sound of phaser beams cutting through steel...
