---BIOGRAPHY---

Garnoopy was born two minutes before his twin brother, and from that moment, they were inseparable. Living in the town of Riverside, Iowa, they ran through fields and played in forests, running into Starfleet officers who had come to see the infamous town. They listened to tales of the Federation and its missions and the amazing space outside of their small planet. The two brothers knew that they would attend the Academy and become Starfleet officers.  

 

The two applied to the Academy and were accepted together. After two years, Garnoopy realized that his interest in Starfleet was different from that of his twin brother, and though they continued to work together, Garnoopy continued on to major in engineering whilst his brother moved into medical.

 

Moving through the Academy, Garnoopy enjoyed studying starship systems and the ways in which they worked, especially the bio-neural circuitry involved. In his final year at the Academy, Garnoopy presented a theory in which it was shown that, by specially selecting specified alien genetic codes from their DNA, it would be possible to increase the processing speed of a bio-neural gel pack, thereby increasing response time from the control panels to the computer.

 

After graduating from the Academy with high honors, Garnoopy was assigned to the USS Manticore, NCC-5852. While he moved into space, his brother remained on Earth to continue to get his Doctorate in medicine prior to being assigned to a ship.

 

Currently, Garnoopy is the Chief Engineer on the USS Manticore, NCC-5852.

 

Though Garnoopy dislikes being away from his family, especially his brother, he copes with this by keeping in almost constant contact with his twin who is currently serving aboard the IKC Qob-Lakota.
