"Do Na Grin, Just Bear It..."

Erein Sar'vek t'Jhiin

March 29, 23--

The crew was doomed. From their brave enarrian, to the N'Dak brothers, to the scientists in the Lab, they were doomed.

Gone were the days when a vessel could mind its business and serve the Rihan Empire as it was meant to. Io must now struggle against those who claim to serve in the same Galae.

The sad thing was that Sar'vek wasn't entirely certain of what they were being interrogated about. Either the memory cure wasn't entirely effective, or she had na been intimately involved in whatever incident was wreaking havoc for the Talon crew.

T'Rexan was na truly responsible for this, she was fairly certain. The nearly tr'Psichore was na as well. Both honorable officers. And though she could remotely envision the elder of the two Talon N'Daks somehow arranging this little detour, it didn't strike her as the former Daise'Dheno's style.

Interrogation Galae-style would na be pleasant. Would they use psychological or physical persuasion on their own? She did na doubt it. If they were after something important, they could try anything.

Elements... Sar'vek did na see herself deserving this fate. Na a soldier. A woman trying to make her way in the universe and help the Empire in the meantime. Na particularly involved in the politics and plots of starship life.

Falling into line with her crewmates, she closed her eyes slowly, her heart sinking as she saw the eyes of the guards. Cruelty. Na honor.

If she could withstand the heat of the fire this time, she could withstand anything Galae life had to offer. Of that she was certain.

And for the Elements' sakes, she wasn't going to be broken by petty Galae personnel who thought they owned the Talon crew...
