Bad Feelings

Kairi sat quietly at the helm of the shuttle, which hovered mere meters over the hull of the Agincourt. She was acting as the ships eyes for the time being, till they could get the sensors back to full capacity.

 

The view that Kairi was currently seeing was horrific. Two ships in pieces, one Klingon, the other Romulan. Somehow they collided with eachother under cloak. This was terrible. Kairi's stomach was in knots. She kept getting bad feelings about the current situation, but she knew she needed to focus. Not only did Agincourt need her right now, but she also had to keep her eyes out for debris, and even the slight chance that another ship might appear.

 

Still, Kairi had every right to worry. Seemed like everytime she left the ship, something went wrong. From sick Klingons, being accused of taking part in a murder, terrorist attacks, witnessing a massacre, and even being shot at by her own crewmates. Yeah, she had a right to worry. And even though her safety net was right below her, she still felt very uneasy.

 

Kairi's mind was racing now, getting all jittery. No! She had to concentrate, had to focus. She was needed. No time to worry. No time to be afraid.

 

But still....
