What do you do while you wait for others?

I just thought about this. So what do you do when you come to the chatrooms a couple hours before anything happens? Me, I just start playing video games or turn on the TV.

A couple hours? Never happened to me. But I usually wait around a before the sims, basically the same thing. So I play Super Nintendo...

I play music with Windows Media Player and hit those audiocon thingies in with the music. Its fricken hilarious when you put a gong in something like heavy metal or a "shudup Whesley" in Clasical music.

I play cards. Solitaire, freecell, Spider, poker, whatever. Or, if there's anyone else waiting around, I try to get a conversation going. (though sometimes it seems more like I'm talking to myself, so that doesn't happen often)

If I'm early I usually play minesweeper, listen to music and eat chocolate. Sometimes I also check the news and weather forecast for my region and then get depressive :lol:.

I never show up a few hours early, but if it is pretty early I'll open a new window and look around the Internet at stuff, AIM, and sometimes talk with others who happen to be in the room as well. Though usually, I get engrossed in the Internet stuff and forget I'm in the chat room, and sometimes people talk to me and I don't realize.

 

So, apologies in advance folks! Now you know the real reasons for my periods of silence.

When I am early for a game, as I am tonight, I look about the boards and catch up on those messages and stories I have missed over the past week. When I get to game time, I am usually quilting.

I have my Eastern Time/GMT clock running in the background a couple of hours before the sims, so I know what time it is over the pond :lol:

 

Then I move onto MSN and see who's still awake lol

I typically check my topics, update them if I need to, Read over the Academy Logs to see if I can find where I need to improve, and hmm. . . oh thats right contemplate my next death at the academy! :lol: oh and I do also do as Dumbass does stare at the empty room.
