Well my first hours on the ship turned out to be less than perfect. After I located J'Ddan on the holodeck,( I remember him saying in a letter that he works out there sometimes and I thought that this was the case), I proceeded to go there. I found him and another Security officer doing what I thought was a work out. I wanted to surprise him about me being assigned to the ship. The surprise work He saw me and dropped his phaser. Thats when the

Chief of Sec. came out of hiding and asked me what I was doing there.... I was so nervess that I even forgot to salute, I wonder what type penalty I will get for that. Anway I told him that I would leave if he wished and he said YES HE WISHED! So I departed The holodeck immediatly, still forgetting to salute. After that ordeal I just started looking around the ship to familiar myself with it.........Hopeing I didnt get J'Ddan into to much trouble.
