For someone that likes star trek, that's sure a lot not to like.

I'd have to add most of the third season of ST:TOS. There are only so many times one can see Spock lose control of his emotions.

And, ST:Enterprise, "A Night in Sickbay."

Hmm, I tend not to remember particularly bad episodes -- I think I subconciously block them. By series, then --

TOS is a mixed bag, but as I've only seen it in jumbled-up reruns, I can't say whether one season is worse than another.

TNG's first season was poor quality (most first seasons are, though)

DS9's seventh season, which went back and forth between really good and should-have-burned-the-script bad.

VOY's fouth and fifth seasons (I should note that I don't dislike all of the episodes in these seasons, just that the quality of them as a whole is not up to par.)

ENT, in it's entirety... except the mirror two-parter.

Movies... Motion Picture, Wrath of Khan (I know, they'll be revoking my Trekkie credentials for that one. I just don't like it.), Final Frontier, Generations, Nemesis, and to a lesser extent First Contact (they'll probably revoke my credentials for that, too. I hated what they did to the Borg, and then Voyager went and made it worse.)

Even "Shut up, Wesley!" ?

OK, 3 good words out of an episode of crap.

I'm not a big fan of TNG in general. 'Return of the Archons', and 'The Alternative Factor' from TOS are two that I absolutely cannot stand.

TOS: There are some cheesy episodes, but that's what I like

TNG: First Season had some horrible ones; "Shades of Gray"

DS9: The First Three seasons, anything with the Bajorans whining a lot

VOY: 4-5 w/ Harper

ENT: Yeah...I am an unabashed Enterprise hater.

TOS: Cant comment, never been able to sit thru one episode

TNG: First season (Shades of gray)

DS9: First Season

VOY: Pretty much ALL of it, they just have horrible characters in that show, a few goodies but not enough to save it

ENT: I cant even call that Trek, its that bad

Movies: The Motion Picture, probably one of the WORST directing and editing jobs Ive ever seen in my entire LIFE, 45 min of exposition and a 10 minute scene of just approach shots of the enterprise. HORRIBLE

Final Frontier - Never been able to sit thru it.

Nemesis - Only because they killed off data, other than that it was tolerable

But I do have to say that the BEST of all the films is Insurrection, mostly because its the Quintessential Next Gen Movie

TOS was never that bad for me, if only because I appreciate the vintage 60's SFX, and Shatner's overacting.

I always loved most of TNG, only for the fact that I was way to young to see the early seasons, but by the time I got into it, I was when I was 5-6 during seasons five or six, and it was just the coolest thing around. I remember running through the house as fast as I could asking my dad if thats how fast impulse speed was :D

I was never that big on DS9, mainly because after TNG ended, so did most of my trek watching. I never really got into it until the Dominion War started up.

Voyager is around the same lines, I didn't really start watching until, or rather remembering episodes until the third season. Season 7 was sort of a disapointment to me, seeing as how some eppisodes were an attempt to close story lines, without letting us know if the ships making it back or not. Besides, Fred killed my love of Voyager long ago...

I have to believe that I'm one of the few people who truely enjoyed ENT. Sure, they messed up some cannon, and some of the eppisodes were god awful, but then again, what trek hasn't done those very things in the past?

I enjoyed what I saw of the first season, but I should have gotten a TiVO, since my soon-to-be ex wife never bothered to set the VCR for me, since I was in classes when they were showing it.

And the rinky-dink Post Exchange on Camp Speicher, in Iraq, was always raped and pillaged of DVDs on a regular basis.

As for worst series? I loved TOS, since I grew up on the syndicated reruns, enjoyed TNG until after Best of Both Worlds, and All Good Things, never got into DS9 since I was busy watching B5, and I missed way too many episodes of Voyager to make any sense of the series.

Movies: Loved the TOS movies, except STV, Generations could have been done better, and I haven't seen the last two.

And as for screwing up Canon? Lucas did it as well with SWIII: Revenge of the Sith, with Padme dying in childbirth. I could have sworn I remember Leia in Jedi, telling Luke about her early childhood. So don't worry about it.

All I want to know is why the heck did Earth send a ship out to explore the galactic barrier in 2065, when there was so much more of the Galaxy to explore? Unless Roddenberry simply assumed that Star Trek was running in the 25th Century...and hoped the writers would continue that premise of an unstated timeframe.

For me..

1. Enterprise is the worst of the lot. Destroying 35 years of established Star Trek history is something I can't forgive all that easily. That and the acting and especially the writing (stupid B&B twins) left something to be desired.

2. Then, it's TOS with it's cheesy 1960s special effects and cheesy overacting, but I later grew to appreciate it.

3. Is Startrek Voyager, how in the world did thgey manage to repair their ship after being nearly destroyed week after week. B'Lanna must really be a miracle worker, especially wth her limited resources. Plus, the plot of finding their way home, wasn't all that great. The only reason I kept watching was Seven of Nine. :D

But I did enjoy DS9 and especially TNG, except for the first two seasons and any episodes revolving around Wesley Crusher. If you saw the Weakest Link episode featuring Star Trek stars, you'll see that he's just as obnoxious in Real Life as he is in TNG. I do not accept TAS as canon Trek.

Movies:

1. By far, the worst movie of the lot is Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Cheesy special effects, bad directing and basically bad everything else. The movie just plain sucked in everyway. :D

2. Star Trek V. Same as TMP. It sucked.

3. Star Trek: Nemesis. Another affront to established Star Trek history. (As Blu would also attest too). Which is why the Talon doesn't accept the movie as canon. That and they killed off Data, my favourite TNG character. Bastardos.

Make it the three of us lol. I personally enjoyed Enterprise. I mean the show in general sucked, but some of the stuff was pretty intresting to see.

I'm sorry, but you really cannot argue that "Threshold", Voyager, where Tom Paris breaks the Warp 10 barrier, then mutates into a lizzard only to mate with Captain Janeway, was probabaly one of the worst, although hilarious, episodes of Star Trek that exists.

I dunno. The only "entirely" cringeworthy thing to watch in my opinion (Key word "entirely") was Star Trek Insurrection. Now that was bollocks. It was empty, soulless and without any character growth or importance. Even Nemesis has some good parts to counter the horrible aspects.

So basically what we are all saying is...each series and each movie had moments that made us go 'Huh" or worse, and yet...we are all still Trek fans along for the ride because we like Trek, right?

Favorite - TOS

Second Favorite- ENT (waves Hi to Travis, Sisson and Sarvek)

Third - a tie btw VOY, TNG, and DS9.

Movies - no problems with any, but "Generations" was not that great.

If I had to pick a "worst" its more of a plotline then series or movie. And that is "Finding Data". I never disliked the character and totally understood he was an android, looking to understand and become more human. It was fine for the series.

But dangit if that plotline wasn't completly shoved down our throats when the TNG movies started being made. Mostly in all of them, from the emotion chip onward. In "Nemesis" when they found body parts of B4 on that planet...I just thought that had no place in that film and was more of "Oh, lets throw another find Data subplot in".

On the bright side, it was better then "Generations", IMO. I did like "Insurrection" as well as "Final Frontier", two of the films regularly panned. Oh well - differing tastes I would guess.

Heh... I don't mind Final Frontier. It had a rugged quality that I liked.

Besides, what can top Spocky toasting 'marshmelons'? :D
