Spy vs. Spy

"Spy vs. Spy"

Log entry 36: SD 10603.03

Sighing, Koga retired over his quarters once his duty shift had finished for the day. He walked over and checked out his reflection in the mirror.

Destorie did have a strong right hand. But after Koga's years in the Ke'veshrek rink, his face in addition to his physical well-being was free from any serious harm from the back hand from Destorie in the lift awhile back.

Sighing again, Koga opened his armoire and took out a bottle of ale. He poured himself a glass and turned on his console.

"Well, my job is done. I just wished I found a better location to put the bloody listening device in his quarters" Koga said.

Koga's father Deihu SBien came on the screen. "It's okay. I know au aren't the best of spies, which is why I encouraged au na to to join the Tal'Shiar

"But so long as au got the job done, that's fine" said the Deihu. Like all of the crew on the Talon, the Deihu quickly regained his memories once the antitode for the shipwide memory loss was administered.

"Right" said Koga. "But it was hard going behind Destorie's back, like that. It'll be awhile before he trusts me again"

But the Deihu simply shrugged it off. "Don't worry, it's for a good cause. I heard about what happened to Destorie losing his command in all. Terrible stuff"

Koga just nodded. "But, since I was here.. I wanted to know from his perspective, what had happened and if... the allegations against him.. had any.. validity"said the Deihu.

"Destorie isn't like that. And he is able to take care of himself. His family is just as powerful as ours" replied Koga.

"Well.. ie.. but, I wanted to be sure he wasn't over his head. Doing favours for others, are very beneficial. Na worries, son. This'll all blow down in time. It always does"

Koga nodded solemly. "I hope so" with that, the transmission ended. Koga still regretted his actions, violating Destorie's trust.

He threatened to kill Koga on many occaisons throughout their life together. Would Destorie actually do it? Na..na.. he shook it off.

But, still.. Koga felt bad about it. He definately wasn't one to sneak around behind people's backs, especially his friends. It was totally unlike him. It was something he wished not to do again.
