Captain Huff

Captain's Pet

47 posts in this topic

A real pet, not a sycophant! That's right, it's been well over a year since Huff's pet tribble dropped dead of old age, and you can help pick the next one! Ooo..

Requirements: For the TOS Hood, a pet must be under five pounds. (We made this rule before Archer brought that fat thing on Enterprise). Fire away!

How about a hamster or a gerble?

I also agree with a Chinchilla. It suits you, Cap'n.

As for a hamster, you can just steal one from the gator's live food cabinet.

But as for an original idea, what about a ferret? A nice, slinky little critter who can sneak coffee to your room through the Jeffries Tubes?

I like the ferret idea. But a Targ would be cool, more intimidating. Keep it on the bridge, turn the ship Klingon...

I agree with the ferret and Tarq ideas. But how about some fish?

Some bass perhaps? Or trout? You know, something that can be turned into a very nice, and romantic dinner, if necessary.

Fish...? ::thinks it over:: Little seawater ones? In an aquarium? They multiply faster than tribbles...

I was thinking more along the line of freshwater sports fish. As I suggested, they over populate, you turn some of them into dinner.

How big is that Targ Mike named after me?

You have to remember that the Hood is a TOS sim. A Human Captain just wouldn't come into contact with a targ unless it was as a prisoner. And don't worry, Rhoagie/Kroells is still as fat and lethargic as ever.

As to who I think Huff's pet should be...
