No, losing to Sweden would be very bad indeed. The Americans were just not lucky yesterday; they didn't bring their A-game to the Olympics. Ironically enough, the US Womens' team were complaining the Canadians were trying to run up the score with their wide victory margins over their opponents. But they're just sore losers, lol. But really, does anybody in America care or even know about this loss? Be honest.

GO CANADA GO!

That Loss was insane. And I can't belive they did not count that goal! I mean I saw the puck go in, my dad saw it go in, my sister too. And I bet so did many more people.

Yep. The Swiss have good goaltending.

They were pretty tough on penalties too.

I hate to say it to all our Canadian brethren here, but the men got swept under the table by Finland 2-0.

We have the best players on our team and we haven't scored in the past two games  We're not doing well because our players aren't playing as team :P

Ya, sure. That's what the fans all say when they get swept.

Dude, it's true. Wayne Gretzy said it, columnists are saying it and by watching their last two games, I agree with them. Although periods 2 and 3 of the Finnish game was actually pretty good, Canada put up a lot of shots and applied a lot of pressure but still couldn't score.

That was horrible officiating. Come on that goal late in the 3rd should have counted. We've been gyped.

And so ends our run. The refs sucked throughout the competition so far and will probably continue to suck. Can't blame the refs for everything though, we got too many penalties.

I'm cheering for Finland now.

Well, that's what we get for sending pros. instead of the junior team. They got overconfident, cocky and they let it show through in their game. The junior team wouldn't have had that problem. The olympics are no place for proffesionals, anyway. You don't see Jamie and David out there, why should pro. hockey be any different?

Yeah, but if there's no pros in Olympic Hockey, then nobody would watch. Since the addition of Pro players in 1998, Olympic Hockey has gotten much more exciting. The Finals in 1998 and 2002 are great examples. Those are hockey moments noone is soon to forget.

I don't know, I still seem to remember (barely, I wasn't even seven at the time) a certain miracle at Lake Placid, in 1980, where a bunch of unknown players from a country known more for it's baseball players defeated the then-hockey powerhouse, with it's State-sponsored professional players.

Having professionals on the Olympic team is a good thing, but don't try to stack the deck in your favor. It never seems to work; look at how the Dream Team started falling apart the past couple of summer games.

Just my two dollar's worth. Bloody inflation.

Woohoo! My Swedes won the Gold! (I say 'my' because 5 of the players are from the Red Wings, which is my team)

The gold medal game was a real... good game!
