the gold medals come in a pattern. The US has steadily been climbing up then it'll be Canada, then Russia. It all goes in a pattern :P

It's getting closer and closer each day. We (Canada) got 4 medals yesterday and 3 today so we could be steadily improving. :P

Yeah, we're doing great medals wise. And with Canada's win over Finland in Women's Hockey, that's one more garanteed medal for us on Monday. I don't know if we'll get first in the medal count, but we hope to be in the top 3 at least. When we host the games in 2010, we hope to get 35 medals in totals.

I picked Norway, but the snow there is probably all yellow from Kenya peeing on them from that Lions and Tigers thing.

Yeah, Norway always dominates the Winter Olympics.. at least we're hanging in there in 4th place. (and ahead of the US in total medals -- as of 9:46 AM ET)

Eh, the medals never really mattered to me that much, I just enjoy watching the games period.

I only watch the figure skating competitions. Though I'm starting to find speed skating interesting as well. Thank goodness I got my new DVR in time. I've been recording all the skating while I'm at work. =) It's been a fabulous Olympics so far.

I voted Germany, but it could very well be Norway, Russia or the US.

I didn't even bother putting Austria in the poll, but as of this moment (2/20 10:35 AM) they are now in third place. The Austrians have been quite dominant in women's alpine skiing.

There's still medals to hand out tomorrow. But everyone is out of reach from Germany (they have 29). Canada is in third with 24, US is in second with 25.

I see a tight race for the top and thats what makes these games so fun to watch.

YAY! We made it!

Actually there are only two surprises for me: Austria and Norway.

I'd have expected Austria to do much worse and Norway to do much better.
