Dr. Montoya had the chip in his hand.  He carefully rolled it around in his palm,  considering its contents.  Instictively, he eyed the terminal to replay the information, initially deciding against it, but realized that it should be done.  Care fully he inserted the chip into the terminal.

"Computer,  play back Sickbay monitor file,  9711.02,  index 14.8" quipped Flip as he sat down watching the tape.  There was sickbay, choas strewn by the battle with the Jem'Haddar, wounded and dying everywhere.  Flip saw Dr. Stewart, Dr. Wing, and himself,  along with the rest of the medical teams franticly trying to save lives. Flip closed his eyes for a second trying to block out te memories of those moans and screams of pain, and the whimper

Not long after, Paul stopped , shaking his head,  and sent a still Rocks out of sickbay via strecher.

"Computer, Freeze image."  Later, Flip found out that his friend was dead.  He recalled yelling out to Paul to put Cris in stasis,  not knowing what was going on.  He had seen death many times,  fighting against the dark specter many times for the lives of his patients, often winning,  but the  Grim Reaper takes a few nevertheless.

This time it was one of his friends.

Flip looked at the chronometer.  Kit has left as well.  Probably she was more disturbed by Cris' death, they were close once, and were still good friends he assumed. I hope she finds peace.

Flip turned off the terminal, headed for the door, and proceeded to Ten-Foward,  were he sat down, alone; at a certain spot were he used to share with his friends. Staring out the viewport, at the stars....
