The Manticore is enroute to Nede Prime for a mission of "social

deterrence." Chiefs Garnoopy and Farron are back at their posts,

but being watched carefully after their fight. Admiral Atragon-9

has left the ship in his runabout, the Pegasus, but not alone. At

the last moment, he has taken Counselor Margaux Roget with him,

much to the surprise of Jami, his wife and Kyle, her lover.
