Hello. I am the STSF Resident Egomaniac, and I would like to welcome you to the Star Trek Simulation Forum at stsf.net (as opposed to stsf.com; try simming there :) !) Just remember that the secret to simming is to have fun and the secret word is "hootenanny". :P

May you die well. :P

Ok ill give it to you straight

I have read every post sim chat log that I could find

Were have you people been all my life

Having seen pretty much every episode.. I have suffered in silence having no outlet .

You can understand how hard it it is to have a conversation with a non Trekker

They just give you a stunned look ..........

I admit Iam eager to try this

I have read the rules.... all of the Moose tips

And should make the adjustment fine

Once again great group you have here Cheers

Hello and Welcome to STSF. This is a good crew here.

Only thing you need to watch out for is the T'Venus SFly'Trap - it was brought here by the Rihannsu and placed in the Lobby - it snaps.

And don't believe all these crazy rumors about cadets getting killed by the GM's in the acad...**AHHHHHHHH** **MRRPHHHHH** !!!

<ACTION> Kansas is attacked by the T'Venus SFy'Trap

Happy Simming!

- Kansas >^..^<

T'Venus SFly'Trap -

Can be rendered to a harmless, buy a slight modification of the carrier frequency

Of the electron pulse genrator in you standerd issue Phaser.Making the nutreno that the eletron is carrying inert...

Witch would react with the negitvly charged metabolism of the plant in question.

Cause it to go into a state a of induced hibernation. totaly harmless to the plant

So in conclusion bring it Im trained and ready lol

Ps thank you for the heads up

Welcome aboard!

To play, all you have to do is come in for an academy, and ask for a post. It's best to show up about 10 minutes early. That way, we can get started on time, and, the earlier you come in, the more likely you are to get your first choice for a post.

Fortunetly, when your in an academy sim and some wierd actions take place, make sure you can give suggestions that won't let your gaurd down on away missions. The last academy sim i was in, these bugs ate the away team cause I suggested we dont use tridorders to scan for them.

No matter how well versed you are, no matter how many years you have spent watching Star Trek, no matter how devoted a trekkie you are, no matter how fast and accurate your typing, no matter how great your imagination, the academy will break you.

If you look at it as a challenge, it might. :P But if you look at the Academies as hours of fun and entertainment with fellow Trekkies, you'll fly. Just learn the basics (www.stsf.net/howto.php) and pay attention when a GM tells you that you're doing something wrong (but don't get upset or discouraged if that happens), and you'll have an easy time.

Welcome aboard, from the previous postings it appears you have found a

home among others that share the view, look forward to seeing you around

the academy, and the fleet....Now just to clarify a statement from Mr.Elgor,

::looks at elgor::.who do you think taught T'Linna the finer points of grinding

that being said , welcome to the academy, and stsf,we have a great group of

members here, and a wonderful GM staff all ready to assist you at any time ;)

Thank you to every one for the welcome .

A great bunch of people is an understatement

I enjoyed my first sim very much but there is one point I have to bring up.

My typing talent leaves much to be desired:::: As he throws the key board ::

Iam not going to try another sim _untill I can remedy this problem.

I have been trashing on a typing tutor as hard and as fast as I can...

But I will not miss an academy I will spectate all of them until the point were my typing dosent hold me back any longer..

But I will continue to post and try and get to know the STSF as much as I can

So thanks every one for you time and understanding

Trust me I am not going anywere
