New Friday Night Academy!

Who likes the idea/would attend the new Friday night academy?

I'm always one who will vote to give people academy options even if I myself don't participate, so I say sure, go for it. It's not like KBear and Amnor have anything better to do on Friday nights anyway. :lol:

 

For myself I probably wouldn't participate. The time slot is sandwiched between the commute home and Battlestar Galactica. I would have to get home right at 6 PM Pacific from work, sim, watch BSG, and either have dinner at 8:00 PM or start my weekend drinking on an empty stomach, neither of which is optimal.

I thought about SciFi fridays also but each epsiodes come on twice each firday night. So most people can catch at least one of them.

I'm generally either out or traveling on Friday evenings, but I still think it's an excellent idea. It will be especially good for those dedicated simmers who do not live in the US and will find it easier to join an Academy at this time.

 

More academies are always good (at least for cadets and players, if not GMs) and it's great that the GMs have been able to do that. I'll definitely try to join in on one sometime!

Yepper - Y'all will see me. A Friday acad is very easy to attend with no work the next day.

 

And as for Sci Fi Friday concerns...VHS tapes. That obsolete thing known as the VCR. They can still be used! :lol:

I'm already a member of Aegis, so I'd just have to show up an hour earlier. I do enjoy Academies, but lately I've just not had the time to participate in them--I used to go to the Tuesday night ones fairly regularly. Friday represents the end of the week for me, with less obligations school-wise because I have a weekend ahead of me, so I might just show up that hour earlier and have some extra fun. :lol:

The time slot is almost perfect as far as I am concerned. Since I'm on Aegis, too I'll just get up an hour earlier. It will make it easier attending at least one or two Academies a week even if my schedule gets more busy one of these days.
