i normally linked to stsf as usual and was brought to a site...that said your site has been defaced...........it eventually led to a site at a college.......which was prompyly turned into and over to norton/symantec.for futher investigation.....from me..can anyone

please enlighten me.... before i turn it over to the F.B I.....ccd division.. B)

NOOOOO ...S...T.....i had to find a back door to log in to not only here

but onto the STAR TREK .COM site as well......caused me to be late B)

well any way....turned it over to our local cccd /fbi ...and symantec...hope they get the little @#%%@##$%^&^$$%...before it spreads :)

I found it first...they hacked in as I was browsing the boards...started at Community and Trek.

 

I told Atragon, Atragon got Webbie, Webbie fixed the problem. All good now. B)

Would just like to throw my thanks out to the webmaster. I'm sure there's a lot of upkeep to the boards, and this seems like a good time to express gratitude for all of that. Thanks for giving us our forums back! B)

by all means kudos to all the people involved in the recouping of our site

but if it is any consolation to webbie/gm's the originating address of the assault has been turned over to the proper cyber authorites....just my way

of helping......hope i didn't step on any toes.. B)
