::Blu stood looking at the others in the room, that were getting up from their seats to procede with the investigation and the possible intruder situation::

 

"I realize that you all want to get down to Shuttlebay 3 and inspect the Grant.  I already have a security team stationed there, just give them this..::she hands a padd towards them with the proper id code:: Security will grant you access to the bay with this.  I'd like to take a moment, to verify that I indeed, was not present in Shuttlebay 3 at the time in question.  I will meet up with the security teams scanning the ship momentarily.  However, I do have to answer the question that was brought up, as

to whether I wasn't really in Shuttlebay 3, or just dont' remember being there.  Fortunately, the areas in question, are some of those that are required to be monitored with security cameras."

 

::Blu padded across the room, to the display panel on the far wall.  Reaching to the controls, she punched in a set of instructions. "Computer....bring up security monitors, 35-B-001, 35-B-002, 35-C-007, followed by 13-SB3-001, 13-SB3-003, 13-C-009."

 

Computer> Working.......security monitors 35-B-001, 35-B-002, 35-C-007 accessed.

               Working.......security monitors 13-SB3-001, 13-SB3-003, 13-C-009,  

               accessed and functioning at normal parameters.

 

"Good.  If we do have someone on board, they may have just made thier first slip.  They should have taken out our security camera first. Alright, computer..show me each monitor, one at a time. Begin with 35-C-007,  time index, 9702.09 mark1344 hours. I want to see just how many officers I had attending my briefing, and how many left."  

 

::Blu watched as the computer began to display the deck 35 corridor monitor that was just outside of the brig. Carefully, she watched as the various security teams entered the brig from the corridor, and kept count of just how many went in.  

 

"Ok...that's 19 that I count there....ok, show me the same monitor, beginning at time index 9702.09 mark 1405 hours." ::She watched as a group of officers all left the brig, several with thier backs to the monitors. She'd have to check the next monitor down the corridor to confirm each officer.:: "Wait...18...only 18 had left the room."

 

"Computer..show me monitor 35-B-001. Time index 9702.09 mark 1400 hours." ::Blu watched the panel, and intently stared at the screen, noting each of the faces and putting a name with it.  18...she had given assignments to 18, and the new ensign standing in the back, was to join the roving patrols.  The new ensign...she felt as if a ton of bricks had hit her..it was so obvious. All of the others had been assigned in pairs..he hadnt been, no one would have noticed him not working "with" them.::

 

"Computer..let me see monitor 35-B-002 mark 1405 hours" ::again she watched as the camera showed the last of the others leaving.  Blu watched herself leaning over the console, monitoring the bridge communications, and saw her stand and turn to leave the brig.  That is when one of the chairs suddenly became her "new ensign".  He thumped her on the back of the head, knocking her out, and the monitor showed  him reach down and pick her up.  As he did, he began to transform into her likeness. Blu's jaw about

hit the floor at the speed and ease that this had been accomplished with.::

 

::Not really needing to confirm anymore, she punched in a few more commands.::

"Computer, show me 13-SB3-001 and 13-SB3-003 in progression, beginning at time index 9702.09 mark 1415 hours."

 

::Again, Blu and those still in the room watched, as the imposter Blu dealt, or rather, didn't deal with the imposter.::
