As illogical as this may seem, I find the stars' movements outside of my window somewhat... soothing. I had never truly appreciated that quality of spaceflight before. I suppose being on the ship during the upgrade period made me somewhat... wistful for the the rushing of stars outside the window.

 

T'Parek sighed. Something was bothering her, and even though she had read the official orders regarding the Commodore, but she still felt that it needed to be addressed.

 

I do not know exactly how to view our new Executive Officer, Commander Cole. I have no problem with her being an ex-MACO, and my sources say that she did an admirable job during the Enterprise's Xindi assignment. From the brief sighting of her earlier, she seems to be an acceptable choice.

 

But at the same time... something is not right about the way we are handling Commodore Moose's disappearance. It's as if... Starfleet has something to hide, and that doesn't seem a correct way to approach matters. I don't know what I would do to improve the situation, but I certainly would not ban the mere mention of his name.
