Complications & Decisions Part II

 

Elliot walked into his quarters to grab his gear for the away mission. His meeting with the Captain hadn’t gone exactly as he had planned. Despite the Captain’s opinion that his dreams had been caused by their previous mission Elliot didn’t want to take any chances. He grabbed the padd on which he had written down his dreams in great detail. He wanted to show it to the team. As he picked up the padd he gazed out the window, clenched his left hand and said,

 

“I won’t let it happen again John, I promise you that.”

 

With that he slung his pack around his shoulder and walked out of his quarters towards a turbolift. He walked slowly and took the longest route he could. The team wasn’t leaving for 10 minutes and for some reason Elliot felt the need to look around. He hadn’t really had the time to explore the Agincourt fully since the launch and Elliot wanted to make sure that he took time to do so just in case he didn’t come back from the mission alive or if his quarters were in shambles when he returned. He just hoped that there would be a ship to return to.

 

Elliot entered the TL, took a deep breath and said,

 

“Transporter Room 1”
