The Manticore was sent to discover a plot to disrupt a Wolf 359

memorial and start a war. We found a cloaked Romulan ship

loaded with explosives, being towed by the USS Hawk, and

we followed it. It had a deadly rendezvous with it's boss, a

Sovereign dreadnaught, the Liberator, commanded by

Commodore Lenscher. Quantum torpedos at close range

destroyed the Hawk and revealed us to the enemy. Playing

cat-n-mouse, we tracked the Liberator to its current location.

We have found a plot of theirs, using a freighter to destroy

Starbase One, just as a secret Federation Council meeting is

about to begin. We preapred to destroy the freighter and we

have sent an away team to the Liberator to blow up the Romulan

ship in its bay. At the last minute, we discovered the Council is

meeting ON the freighter and Lenscher wanted to frame us for

their murders. We have disabled the Liberator by destroying the

Romulan Cruiser inside her and a battle has begun while we try to

protect the Council meeting.
