The Bird creatures have given Blurox the ultimatum of Handing over the Republic or Getting distroyed in her. They know the Federation will send more like her when she comes up missing.

BluRox gives them an ultimatum of her own. Back off and discuss this or we will distroy our own ship so there will be nothing left for the Creatures to pick up. Meanwhile she has all non essential personell with Children and escorts first, head to the shuttles. She then has the Hatfeild ordered to make a run for home since the Mother ship is completely ignoring them.

The Hatfield does as told but isnt happy about it. They stop for a moment to try to come up with other options but its the crew decession to obey orders so they take off again.
