Begin Log:

 

Our arrival at Yaderna II did not go as expected. By the time we had arrived, it was discovered that part of the crew had contracted a virus. Apparently this was a result from the shore leave on New Bajor. Luckily during my time there I did not contract the virus, but because of this I now have to go down to the planet to observe peace talks between the natives and the Federation. Because of the virus most of the command staff is too ill to go down to the planet. For the rest of the crew, a vaccine has been administered to prevent further contagions.

I would only hope that the rest of the mission would go smoothly, but as fate would have it, it did not go well either. When we transported down to the planet, we did not beam down to where the negotiations would take place, but outside. As we continued our way to meet the chancellor, we were taken in by Yaderna security for search and questioning. No doubt from the result of Jax’s big mouth, now peace talks will be delayed, and by the time we do, we might not be alive.
