Seiben

Free as a bird

Seiben and Apollo follow the Ferengi Security officer and the Andorian Admiral out of the brig to the promenade. He was told that they were going to be released to Blu and Kania after being held in the Aegis' brig for all those long hours. Seiben sighed deeply. This was getting rather redundant. First the brig on the Sprint, then the Aegis. Seiben just wished he and Apollo didn't get seperated from the group from the large crowds, and decided to get to sickbay to treat their wounds.

He should've known better, but neither Seiben nor Apollo felt prepared to deal with the questions the nosy Aegis doctors asked them. Still, though.. because of them, their mission to stop Brock has been hindered and it might already be too late to stop him. For that, Seiben felt bad and was willing for anything Blu or Fred would lash out at him disclipinary wise. But then again, maybe if they sucessfully stop Brock from colliding with the Republic, none of this would happen, and nobody would remember any of this. (Thus leaving their records clean).

The imposing looking Andorian, and the Ferengi Security officer leads them to the promenade. There he sees Capian Kania and Rear Admiral Blu. Oh boy.. Seiben thought. This probably won't be pretty. But then again, it was Seiben's fault for suggesting they go to sickbay. It seemed like the most logical move at the time. Seiben was worried their wounds might get infected, and the pain from the shrapnel explosion, was just too much for him to bare. He now knows that his logic was flawed, but at least he and his friend are in perfect condition -- well for now anyways. He'd just have to suck it up and take it like a man.

Seiben and Apollo were told that a ship taking the Republic crew to Deep Space 9, where the Republic is drydocked will leave in 20 minutes. Seiben thanked Rear Adm. Meave and Quark the Ferengi for releasing them from the brig. Seiben stood up straight and proud. What's done can't be undone, and Seiben looks to put this incident behind him. Whatever punishment Blu has for him is something hed just have to deal with. But now, his first priority as is with the others is stopping Brock. This near castastophe is a learning emxperience for him. Hopefully, this time he won't drop the ball.. so to speak.
