Ensign Garnoopy Duty Log

Stardate 50212.18

 

While in my quarters, I received a message from the computer about unauthorized attempts to access classified Starfleet files by someone on the ship, I must investigate this when I return from my off duty time.

 

I headed out of quarters to a turbolift to view Starbase 342. Stepping into the turbolift, Ensign Travis joined me with his new cat, O'Connor. I had to inquire what the animal was, and Travis explained it was a cat and all. The cat then proceeded to hiss at me, and Travis explained O'Connor was probably worried I would eat him. I informed Travis that if I had wanted to eat the cat, he would have known by now.

 

I headed onto the station, and managed to find a bar of some sort. Lt. Shamor was. I took a sit next to him. We proceed to talk about relaxation and it's benefits and problems it causes.

 

Lt. Shamor requested I call him "Jon" while on leave. He inquired as to why I chose the Reaent. I gave him my answer.

 

After a while of talking I asked Lt. Shamor what kind of holoprogramas he used, and he informed me he rarely used the holodeck to relax, but usually to work out and tone fighting skills. I agreed with him and we decided to practice our skills together.

 

We proceeded to begin our practice in a Japanese Martial Arts center and are currently involved in a practice fighting session.
