Just Like That L’loann’na Girl Alice

Just Like That L’loann’na Girl Alice

Daise'Maenak t'Ksa

Enjoy!

There was only a few people who knew that t’Ksa was still smarting over the lack of support on the planet surface and only io that she could think of that would have the gall to do this. Daise’Maenak t’Ksa glared at the box of cookies, annoyed that the Daise’Erei’Riov tr’Valdrin thought her ire could be pacified so easily with sweets. She had half a mind to march up to his office and crumble the lot of them on his desk for being so presumptuous. The problem was he was right in his presumption and t’Ksa na make a spectacle of herself for dishonest reasons. Instead she took her ire out on the cookies by pointedly ignoring them for a full half hour as if punishing inanimate objects was justice enough for the indignity of being called out so easily.

Eat me….

Morgana glared again at the cookies, then resumed work on mission reports. She’d managed to tone down her most scathing report, barely, before submitting it to the command staff. While Galae HQ might not pick up on the overtones of seething Maenak Evil within those written documents, those who knew her well would see past the veneer. There was na much she could do about that, the reports were due now and she did na have the luxury of calming down before writing her accounts.

Eat me….

t’Ksa flicked the box away from her before beginning the arduous task of verifying written causality reports. It was tedious work and na one of her favorite tasks at Daise’Manaek. She would have liked to have given the responsibility of the initial review to tr’Radiak, but he’d become somewhat out of sorts lately that she dared na press him. Something seemed….off…but she could na put a finger what it was.

Eat me…

Io hour into her review, t’Ksa absent mindedly reached for a cookie. She realized what was in her hand, she sighed dejectedly and began to munch. The woman was hungry, after all, and she couldn’t stay mad at cookie, could she? She’d deal with tr’Valdrin later.

Perhaps it was after the second cookie, or maybe it was the third cookie, but t’Ksa noticed that she was having trouble focusing on the etrehh screen in front of her. It was if the words were quivering on the screen. She yawned, propped her head up with her elbow on the desk and her chin resting in her hand. She stared dazedly at the sentence in front of her, knowing she’d read it repeatedly but couldn’t understand why it wasn’t making sense. She had a niggling feeling that something wasn’t right. But was it exhaustion? Or was it something else? Perhaps she should lay down on the office cot?

Or perhaps she shouldn’t have eaten the cookie after all?
