Hi, and welcome to STSF.

 

As it says on the announcements on the STSF website front page (www.stsf.net), the regular sim rooms are down because the startrek.com website is being reworked.  There is a link to the chat room on the front page.  There will be probably be another announcement when the regular chat rooms are restored to service.

Well, unfortunately, you just happened upon us as Star Trek.com has decided to upgrade it's website, and the chatrooms are not back up yet. As Loami was so kind to point out, please keep a watch on our the front page of our website www.stsf.net for updates. At this time we are still planning to run an academy tonight, but are waiting to see if the regular rooms are back up, before I announce that we will definately be in the emergency room. I will put a note on the Acadmey Boards at 30 minutes prior to the sim as to what room we'll be in. If the rooms are still down, we'll use the link on the stsf.net mainpage that Atragon has provided to you for access for the Academy sim.

 

In the meanwhile, as a new player, take the time to read the help sections, and I would even suggest taking a look in both the Academy and Advanced sim logs, to see how things work. The one main difference you will find in the advanced sim logs, is that since the same people are on the sim each week, they do not use identification tags in front of their chat. (such as  CO> Ensign Xonia, please come over here.  or...CENG>::walks over to Ensign Xonia::
