Autopsy Report - Alien Fighter Pilot

Autopsy Report - Alien Fighter Pilot

Cdr Nicolas Lepage, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Sky Harbor Aegis

Nick was sitting at his desk after what had been a long day. The autopsy had taken much longer than he had anticipated. Putting his feet on the desk, he leaned back in his chair and mentally went over the autopsy again.

He hadn’t managed to find out much that would help them find out the reason for the attack or even where this species came from. But the information had had been able to glean might prove useful one day.

For one thing, there hadn’t been any kind of implant that would explain how the pilot had controlled his ship. So Leilani’s assumption that it was piloted telepathically was looking more and more probable.

The other thing that had struck Nick was that the alien’s tissue could regenerate at a very fast rate. He had found that out when he had sent tissue samples to the lab. He would have to wait for his tests to be concluded but he could already say that the alien’s body was able to heal at least minor wounds itself within a couple of hours.

Even if these things weren’t going to help them prevent another attack on Aegis, they might well prove to be a couple of important pieces in the puzzle they were currently trying to solve.
