My acadamies so far

For everyone who simmed either the Tue 6/17 or Wed 6/18 academies, I was the TAC officer both those nights. Any one who was there have any advice, critiques, low blows   .

Oh yeah, question too, I'm still unsure how much I can DO. I mean like the GM's decide when actions occur. But I can decide to find abnormal things in scans and such, so long as they're in the sub or major plots?

Oh, and I did read Mooses tips, and they're GOOD   .

Hey there,

Good question. No solid answer. The biggest recommendation I can give is, when unsure, ask. Send a PM to the GM and say "I'd like to have the scan pick this up. Is that alright?" :(

Darius,

Welcome back to STSF! :( You're doing quite well, so keep up the good work.  Here are a few things to keep in mind.

1) Try to vary your posts, especially when bridge positions are not available to new Ensigns out of the Academy 95% of the time.

2) Be confident! Work with other officers.  Don't be afraid to propose solutions/hypotheses/etc.  No one cares if you mess up.  The Academy simulations are all about developing a new simmer into one that can hold his/her own.

3) PM a GM (heh heh, that rhymes) if you ever have any questions!

Hope this helps!
