The Manticore has been pulled through a massive spatial

displacement field to the Andromeda Galaxy. We are

investigating both our current surroundings and avenues to

take us back home. We sent teams to a habitable planet

nearby and have found both predators and a local sentient

species, who call themselves the Qin and who cured Dr.

Lowen of a deadly poison. Captain Sovak is leading a detail

from every department that is on the planet in a first contact

with the Qin. Jami had been hit by a strong sonic burst and

brought back to ther ship, but her condition could not be

stabilized and her bodily functions ceased. Just as the Medical

staff started life-saving steps, she was "taken" from the ship.
