Personal Log: Hilee,Richard,B.,Lt., Asst.Engineer,U.S.S. Manticore

The last thing I remember was speaking with Lt.Pilot on a mission to take a better look around tomorrow. My Tricorder began beeping, possibly signaling a possible incoming intruder when I had the strangest feeling and collapsed to the ground.

I was well aware of the things and sounds around me...However try as I may I could not get the simplest of body movements to cooperate. laying on my side and facing the fire I could see others as well incapacitated as I was. Time passes so slowly when you are stripped of your ability to move or even speak...literally paralyzed from head to toe.

The sensations of my limbs did begin to come back gradually, How long had we been down, Who or what was the dreadful scream I had heard in the distance. I slowly began to regain use of my muscles and eventually able to sit upright, leaning against a big rock I had been seated on prior to this event.

The Tricorder was still flashing, However the beeping had ceased...apparently what ever had came had left just as quickly. The time indicated on the screen indicates we all must have been immobilized for approximately five minutes. It as well had recorded some data of the event. Perhaps we can learn from the data .

looking over across the lake to the other side there appears to be some kind of hurried activity taking place. I hope all is well, making my way around and looking at others in our camp it appears the others are coming around as well. My legs still are shaking from what ever it was that nailed us all to the ground. I do still have a certain queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach...what was it,how did it do what it did to what appears to be both camps and team members? The answers need to be obtained and quickly in my opinion, for just as surely what ever it was that struck us might decide to do so again.

It seems the others are recovering and are intact...That is enough for now.
