W.S.ID.?

It started with

The first warp drive

Archer with Porthos

By his side

Exploring the universe.

With every new ‘First Contact’

He would ask himself, “W.W.D.D.?”

What Would Dad Do?

Exploring Galaxies ‘far,far away’

Kirk with his crew

Representing the Federation.

Through peaceful meetings,

Battles with Klingons and

Travels through time warps

Found himself thinking, “W.W.P.D?”

What Would Pike Do?

The adventures continue

Trying to make peaceful contacts

In strange new places

While obeying the ‘Prime Directive’

Do not interfere!

Being challenged by the Borg.

Jean Luc would often think, “W.W.K.D.?”

What Would Kirk Do?

Still the adventures go on

Traveling through the Delta Quadrant

On the other side of the galaxy

Trying to find a way home

Being bothered by the Hirogen and the Malon

Kathryn would often think, “W.W.P.D.?”

What Would Picard Do?

Through it all

Every challenge

They faced

What they were

Really saying

Is the same thing

You and I often think,

At every crossroad in our lives

“W.S.I D.?”

What Should I Do?

Hi, KK.

If you had an "I think it's interesting" in your poll that's the one I would choose. It spans the Trek universe, has interesting thoughts.

Just two corrections:

1) "Far, Far Away" is the Star Wars galaxy, not Star Trek

2) TOS stayed within the Milky Way except for one episode where they were going to the Andromeda Galaxy, but they turned around before even getting close.
