RHoz's little helpers!

RHoz stirs awake on the bio-bed, the clamor of  Kwal' and Garnoopy enough to wake the dead.  He lies motionless, feigning unconciousness as the quarrel escalates then ends with the medical officer sedating the protesting tHlingan. He waits until Garnoopy grabs his med kit and exits the MRF, then attempts to get up from the bed.

 

A sickening thud resounds throughout the MRF as RHoz falls to the deck plating!  He curses, then pushes up from the floor, still weak from blood loss. He drags himself across the floor to the lab.  Once there, RHoz leans back against the wall and uses his wobbly legs to push himself up from the floor. He sees what he's after on the lab table a few feet away. He stumbles over and opens a small refrigerated cabinet,  it contains vials of various types of biological agents. He grabs the one containing the nanites from the dead Borg that they retrieved, along with Bch's pet "Thing".

 

Taking a scan device,also on the table,  RHoz taps out a program for the nanites and sends the signal to them. He then takes the vial and attaches it to a hyposprayer. The Qel injects the nanites into his coratid artery, and they immediately begin their task. They seek out existing blood cells and fabricate new ones,  they also stimulate his hypothalmus, which aids his bodily fluids replenishment. He grimmaces slightly, then smiles as he soon feels the effects of the micro workers speeding his blood replenishment.  Within a half hour, the swift nanites have regenerated enough of RHoz's blood / plasma so that he can stand on his own, and feels his strength returning.
