Reflections

Ensign JP Marks never claimed to be a psychic, but when the Captain called for an immediate meeting of all the senior staff, he had to wonder if he had a bit of Betazoid telepethy in him. He just knew the Captain had recieved bad news and this seemed to cement that fact...

JP surveyed the bridge as the senior staff piled into the Captain's Ready Room in immediate response to the priority one message he had recieved from command. With a deep breath he turned back to his Tactical station. He found it foolish to want the ship to be thrown into a dangerous situation but he also found it rewarding. Here he was... Tactical officer of one of the most unique ships in Federation history and depending on what the problem was; an essential backbone to any mission. With a final look at the Ready Room, Marks turned back to his Yellow Alert diagnostics, silently hoping that this would be his first true moment to shine...
