Chat room help

Heya,

I've finally moved into the actual university accomodation, the good news is that means I have the internet again, the bad news is that for some weird reason when I try to log into the chat room it says

 

Connecting To Server...

Error Connecting. Please try again.

 

Its a local area network thingy I have methinks, since we go through the university's servers and thats what it says on the connection description. I wonder if there is any cure for this problem?

Most likely your school is using a firewall. If this is the network administrator will need to allow TCP connections on ports 9000-9009 at client.invisionchat.com.

The vacuum tubes must have been loose. Try a different punchcard.

Such abuse, but thats the way most things work. If it works, don't mess with it, if don't, kick,slap or punch it and make it work. Or you could fix it and replace the parts. :P

I look at it this way.

 

If it doesn't work, go ahead and bang it. If it breaks, you are only breaking something that doesn't work anyway.
