Seiben's Defense Plan

"Seiben's Defense Plans"

Log entry 56: SD 10412.02

Seiben sighed and looked over his PADD once agin, in the comfort of the Command Chair on the bridge of the Republic. If things went the way he think they would in the near future, it'll probably be the last chance he'll get to sit in the Command Chair -- or any chair of a Federation vessel. He sighed gloomly, and envisioned a future piloting a freight vessel to and from Antaris III.

Heh, maybe if he's lucky, Apollo and the rest of the crew can serve with him. As Seiben gave it more thought, he didn't think it was all so bad. The pay was good, and you got to be in command of your own vessel, giving you the independance and flexibilty of being your own boss. The Republic currently remains docked near New Bajor, where the ship is undergoing repairs and transporting the necessary medical supplies to heal the sick on the planet.

It is a rather somber return to New Bajor for the majority of the Republic's crew. The first time they came here, all were looking forward to a few days relaxing in the New Bajoran sun. But after they left the first time, all has gone down hill from there.

From the mass crew Sickness to Admiral BluRox's "execution", ion storm and the return of Holly, it's not been a pleasant last mission for the venerable Republic crew. Now, with the medical ingredients to produce the cre given to New Bajor, and the Admiral up and running again, and Holly not appearing for quite some time, one might think that their troubles would be over.

Sadly for Seiben, and most of the bridge crew, they are currently facing some rather serious charges when they violated Starfleet orders when they rettrived Rear Admiral BluRox from that planet, which he forgot the name of. Now unfortunately, may become the court proceedings and JAG meetings and nasty stuff like that.

As for defense, well.. Seiben doesn't really have one really. He couldn't in good conscious leave Blu there.. nah.. wouldn't be able to live with himself if he did.. as they say.. rules were maent to broken. And if he's quilty, well, then he just had to face the music.
